Bio
At 28 years old, Beau Wheeler has earned his first pair of Nutri-Grain Series togs after a strong Trial performance. Calling Bulli home, Wheeler is an electrician by trade and loves to surf, fish, and hang out with his mates. Previously in 2016, Wheeler placed 5th in the World Ironman competition. Six years on, he is ready to make a splash in the Nutri-Grain Series and has both eyes on re-qualification.

Wes Berg, Sam Hamilton and Hugh Dougherty.

“Get them from the jump,“ – My Pop
Your advice for aspiring Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain athletes?
It’s never too late.
What do you think about during a race?
In my head I’m keeping track of the conditions and weighing up my next move.
Beau, what has been a high in your IronMan journey?
High: 3 rounds back to back – didn’t ever expect that
Low: Coming out of a “hole” after a few bad rounds during the series. Having to climb out of that mentally and figuring out when it all isn’t flowing together, is pretty tough.
What do you think about on the start line?
I am only thinking about getting a good start.
What is your go-to dinner before a carnival?
A big bowl of spag bol.
