Your advice for aspiring Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain athletes?

Stay consistent with your training and don’t let setbacks deter you from your ultimate goal.

What do you think about during a race?

Whatever is happening in front of me and making sure I put myself in the best position to do well.

James, what has been a high and low in your IronMan journey?

High: Competing for a potential series win in the last round of the 2017/18 season.

Low: Having never competed for Australia.

What was your favourite subject in school?

Mathematics.

What is your go-to meal before a carnival?

Eggs on toast.
