Bio

Tanyn Lyndon’s career in surf lifesaving started with him following his sister around Lennox Head beach when he was just 3 years old. He quickly became a nipper and eventually a competitor with a dream to become a Nutri-Grain IronMan. As he competed through the age groups, Tano achieved a rare Australian Championships feat – he won four National Ironman titles in four consecutive years. After school Lyndon relocated to the Gold Coast, and ten years ago, found himself standing next to his idol Zane Holmes on an elite series starting line. Outside of competing Tano is a full time carpenter and loves to spend time with his wife and son.
