Bio
Dominique Stitt started her surf lifesaving journey in green caps at Kawana Waters SLSC on the Sunshine Coast, after her parents signed her up to nippers to learn surf safety and how to swim in the ocean. She confesses that while she was ‘quite good, I hated it’ and it wasn’t until U12’s at States when she won her first medal in the Ironwoman race that she started to love the sport. The 2025/26 Shaw and Partners Iron Series will be Stitt’s third taste at the professional series, having achieved her goal of making the series when she got the call up in Round 3 in Maroubra last year. Outside of racing and training, Stitt works as a casual lifeguard and is starting a Bachelor of Dietetics in 2026.
