Shaw and Partners Iron Series Trial, presented by Race One Surf Craft
Presented by Race One Surf Craft, competitors will be fighting over two days for 42 places in the Shaw and Partners Iron Series. Who will come out on top and claim a start in Round 1?

Start time
The first race will commence at 8am.
Female Heats will run before Male Heats.
Following Race 2, re-seeding of all competitors will occur competitors with the highest point score from first two rounds to qualify for Race 3. If less than 100 entries in a division, the top 40 athletes will go through to Race 3. If more than 100 entries, 60 athletes will go through to Race 3.
Following Race 3, the top male and female athlete based on a combined points total of their 3 races will automatically qualify for the 2026/27 Shaw and Partners Iron Series and will not be required to compete on Sunday. The remaining top 30 male and female athletes (2nd place to 31st place), based on a combined points total of their 3 races, will qualify for Sunday 20 September.

Start time
The first race will commence at 8.15am.
Male races will be held before Female races.
Following Race 4, the top 5 competitors will automatically qualify for the 2026/27 Shaw and Partners Iron Series and will not be required to compete in Races 5 & 6.
At the conclusion of Sunday Race 6, the top 15 competitors (from the remaining 25 competitors) with the highest points awarded across races 4-6 will qualify for the Shaw and Partners Iron Series.
