The Shaw and Partners Iron Series is returning to the Gold Coast for the final races at the iconic Surfers Paradise beach. Who will be our 2026/27 Champions? Find out on 5-6 February, 2027!

Super Sprint

Race 1 – Board, Swim, Ski
Race 2 – Ski, Board, Swim
Race 3 – Swim, Ski, Board

The Female and Male Iron Athletes will alternate between the Races.

Grand Eliminator

Race 1 – Board, Ski, Swim, (12 starters)
Race 2 – Ski, Swim, Board (10 starters)
Race 3 – Swim, Board, Ski (8 starters)

The Male Iron Athletes will race first and then alternate races with the Female Iron Athletes.

The winners of Race 3 will be crowned the 2026/27 Shaw and Partners Iron Series Champions!

Shaw and Partners Iron Series Nipper Challenge

The first ever Shaw and Partners Iron Series Nipper Challenge will be held as a lead in to the Newcastle Super Sprint and Eliminator races.

Budding Ironman and Ironwoman competitors aged from U11s to U14s are invited to sign up and compete on the same arena as the elite Shaw and Partners Iron Athletes. U11 and U12 races will be held on Saturday, 13 December while U13 and U14 will compete on Sunday, 14 December.

Entries are to made via Liveheats, and are strictly capped at 40 per age group.

Podium winners for each age group of the Shaw and Partners Iron Series Nipper Challenge will receive a Race One Surf Craft gift voucher – 1st ($100), 2nd ($80), 3rd ($50), thanks to our Event Partner Race One Surf Craft.
