Bio
Victorian local, Mia Cook, moved to Alexandra Headland SLSC after starting her surf lifesaving journey at Warrnambool SLSC. The 18-year-old has made the move up to sunny Queensland in November, joining Alexandra Headlands SLSC after completing her final Year 12 exam. She is stoked to be part of the 2024/25 Shaw and Partners Iron Series after coming into the Trial Round, presented by Race One Surf Craft, with low expectations and just wanting to see what she could do. As well as making her professional Iron Series debut this year, Cook also collected silver medals in the Youth Board and Ironwomen events at the 2024 Life Saving World Championships.
