The final weekend of the 2025/26 Shaw and Partners Iron Series will be held at Miami Beach, QLD on 31 January - 1 February 2026.

EVENT FORMAT
Super Sprint
Super Sprint is three Iron races, with the third race commencing with a staggered start. Iron Athletes will accumulate points in Race 1 and 2, and depending how well and consistent they were, will be rewarded in Race 3. The final race will feature a handicapped start, with the Iron Athletes ranked first starting on ‘GO,’ and the remaining competitions then undertaking a handicap start in accordance to their ranking.
The races will alternate between the Male Iron Athletes and the Female Iron Athletes.
Format
Race 1 – Board, Ski, Swim
Race 2 – Swim, Board, Ski
Race 3 – Ski, Swim, Board
The final 12 athletes will proceed to the Grand Eliminator.

The Grand Eliminator
It all comes done to this. Three Iron races. The bottom placed two Iron Athletes are eliminated after each race. First across the line in the last Race wins the Grand Eliminator and the 2025/26 Shaw and Partners Iron Series!
The Grand Eliminator is three separate Iron races, starting with the final twelve competitors of the 2025/26 Shaw and Partners Iron Series. After each race the last two finishers will be eliminated.
Race 1 – Ski, Board, Swim
Race 2 – Board, Swim, Ski
Race 3 – Swim, Ski, Board
The Female Iron Athletes will race before the Males.
Every Athlete who makes it to the Grand Eliminator will automatically qualify for the 2026/27 Shaw and Partners Iron Series.

Shaw and Partners Iron Series Nipper Clinic
Miami SLSC and SLSA will be hosting a free Nipper Clinic on Friday 30 January (meet at 3.45pm for a 4:00pm start). Shaw and Partners Iron Series Athletes, who will be racing in the Series over the weekend at the same beach, will show the Nippers parts of the actual Shaw and Partners Iron Series Course. There will also be a chance to get photos and autographs from the athletes!
If you want to be part of this unique event, please register interest here by 5pm Monday 26 January.
*Please note all Nippers who will participate in the ocean aspects of the clinic must be proficient U9-U14 members with relevant competition skills evaluations. However, all Nippers are welcome to join in on the on-beach experience.
