Bio
Originally from Oak Flats, Ben Carberry calls the Illawarra region in New South Wales home. Growing up Carberry started in Nippers at the age of five at Warrilla-Barrack Point SLSC, alongside fellow clubmates and future Iron series athletes Ali Day and Hayden White. In 2015 Carberry packed up his bags and moved north to the Gold Coast to pursue a position in the Nutri-Grain IronMan series and now competes for Burleigh Heads Mowbray park SLSC. Carberry also shares a love for Rugby League and has previously juggled playing both sports but in the end chose surf lifesaving. Carberry also works full time as a carpenter.
