Kye Taylor

24-year-old Kye Taylor hails from Newcastle and has been involved with surf lifesaving since a nipper at age 5. Since then, has represented his state and claimed multiple individual state and national titles, and has made the move to Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast to pursue his surf sport’s dream. Since then, Taylor wowed the elite Ironman world as he claimed the inaugural Next Gen competition. Taylor is a fulltime rescue crew officer with LifeFlight, and provide emergency care for communities across Queensland, and in his spare time, loves watching NRL, AFL, and American football.
