The 2026 Shaw and Partners Iron Series Next Gen will be held before the final rounds of the 2025/26 Shaw and Partners Iron Series at Miami Beach, QLD.
Across three rounds, the country’s next wave of surf sports starts will compete for a place in the 2026/27 Shaw and Partners Iron Series and a red competition lycra.
The 2026 Shaw and Partners Iron Series Next Gen will be held on the 30 and 31 January, and 1 February, 2026 at Miami Beach, QLD. Entries are via Liveheats, check the Entry Circular for more information.

About
The Shaw and Partners Iron Series Next Gen competition is open to under 19 male and female athletes and will run as a curtain raiser to the final rounds of the Shaw and Partners Iron Series.
The top under 19 male and female competitors will also automatically qualify into the 2026/27 Shaw and Partners Iron Series, and will wear a red lycra to signify their pathway through to the professional series.
This season, the Shaw and Partners Iron Series Next Gen competitors are Olivia Clues (Newport) and Byron Dieckmann (Maroochydore).
